Lucky 3 is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your photos never leave your device. We don't collect your name, email, or contact info in the app.
Photos: Lucky 3 requests access to your photo library to display random memories. Photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with anyone. We do not store, copy, or backup your photos.
On-Device Analysis: Lucky 3 uses Apple's Vision framework to analyze your photos locally on your device. This analysis helps surface relevant memories and personalize which sponsors you see. No photos, image data, or analysis results ever leave your device.
Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand basic app usage (how often the app is opened, general device type). This data is not linked to your name, email, or photos, and is used only to improve the app. Firebase is operated by Google and may process data on servers located in the United States.
Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports when the app encounters errors. This includes technical diagnostic information (device type, app version, error stack traces) but never includes photos or personal content.
If you sign up for our Android waitlist on this website, we collect your email address solely to notify you when an Android version becomes available. We will not sell, share, or use your email for any other purpose, except in the event of an acquisition or merger where your email may be transferred to the new owner. You can request removal at any time by emailing hi@lucky3.me.
If a photo contains location metadata, Lucky 3 sends the coordinates to Apple's geocoding service to display a place name. We do not receive, store, or have access to your location data.
Lucky 3 does not require user accounts. This means there is no account to hack and no personal data to breach.
The following applies only to Lucky 3 React, not the main Lucky 3 app.
Camera & Microphone: Lucky 3 React accesses your camera and microphone to record your face and audio while you view photos. This recording is saved to your Camera Roll. Your recording never leaves your device — we cannot see or access it.
Lucky 3 is not intended for children under 13.

You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app. Since the app does not collect personal information or maintain accounts, there is no user data on our servers to request or delete.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Lucky 3 after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
